Rocking AR Goats
Sustainable - Regenerative - Holistic
Project History
Take a look at past project performance and life in the goat lane. We strive to meet client's needs based on each project's goals. Some sites are seeking vegetation removal, while others are geared towards regeneration. Set up some time with us to discuss how we might meet your land managment goals.
Before
Ground Water Replenishment Basin
This site is used to return water to the underground aquifer. The bottom is lined with river rock and is designed to percolate quickly. However, vegetation growing in the bottom acts like a mat, reducing the system's efficiency.
After
After goats, you can see the basin's bottom. Site managers estimate a 20%-30% increase in system effeciency after this treatment.
Vegetation Reduction

Invasive Plant Control
Salt Cedar or Tamarisk (Tamarix ramosissima) is a common invasive tree in many riparian areas across the state of Arizona. The tree grows quite large, and can choke out native species. It also increases fire intensity along riparian corridors due to its large number of dead leaves and branches. Goats love Salt Cedar and will actively graze the plant to the bare limbs.
Complete coverage
Goats can reduce vegetation in locations some control methods can't. Here they're demonstrating their rock climbing skills!
